The iPhone X may be recognized as a superior smartphone for aesthetics and sleek design, but the device is not flawless. As per a new rating, the Galaxy S8 has received a higher ranking than iPhone X among a list of recommended smartphones. The chief flaws in iPhone X are related to battery life and durability.

While iPhone X may have surpassed iPhone 8 for the battery to last 19.5 hours, it is way behind than 26 hours of battery of Galaxy S8 and S8+. Meanwhile, the iPhone 8 Plus displays a battery that lasts 21 hours. In terms of battery power, the iPhone is equipped with 2760mAh battery, Galaxy S8 with 3000mAh, and Galaxy S8+ with 3500mAh.

While the iPhone X hit the mark in terms of performance in the initial drop test, it was not up to the mark during intensive lap testing, the probable reason it received ninth rank in the list. The iPhone X was at par with Galaxy S8 and S8+ on the durability front.

iPhone X Features Positives despite Battery, Durability Issues

Coming to the positives of iPhone X, the phone has a 5.8 inch OLED screen and is equipped to display deep black tones and viewing angles. While iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus have excellent displays, iPhone X boasts of an even better display. Other features for accolades to iPhone X are the camera for its excellent results and Face ID that is precise and easy to set up.

Despite this, iPhone X had to settle for a ninth position in the list with Galaxy S8 topping the list followed by Galaxy S8+.
