Ford’s U.S Head Leaves Due to Raj Nair’s Inappropriate Behavior

The head of Ford's US activities is exiting from the organization promptly following an inner examination concerning unseemly conduct. The carmaker stated its request had presumed that some of Raj Nair's lead had been "conflicting with the organization's set of principles". Ford did not indicate why the examination was begun nor what it revealed. Mr. Nair said in an announcement that "I genuinely regret" certain conduct. Ford President and CEO Jim Hackett stated in an announcement: "We settled on this choice after an intensive audit and watchful thought. Ford is profoundly dedicated to giving and supporting a sheltered and conscious culture and we anticipate that our pioneers will completely maintain these qualities." Mr. Nair owned the position of a President of Ford North America since 1 July. Previously, he was the head of global product advancement and CTO.

A representative for the US's 2nd greatest carmaker said the organization would not remark on the idea of Mr. Nair's takeoff. In August, Ford concurred a multi-million-dollar treaty after an examination concerning sex and race harassment at two manufacturing plants in Chicago.
