Sony has announced its new phone Xperia XA2 Plus, a device with Hi-Res audio technology, 4K camera, and 18:9 display. The company referred XA2 Plus as an entrainment-focused mid-ranged device that falls in mid-tier Xperia range. It is the first time that the company has offered Hi-Res audio in the mid-range Xperia.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a 6-inch 18:9 display with full HD with the diamond-cut finish and anodized aluminum frame. It is equipped with Android Oreo, the fingerprint sensor on the back, and Gorilla Glass 5 for protecting the display. The company has focused to improve camera and audio, offers a high-resolution audio support for audiophiles and 23-megapixel rear camera with sensors ISO 12800. It is perfect for low-light photography, slow-motion recording with 120 fps, and 4K regular speed recording.
The device is slightly thinner and looks like many high-end devices such as Google Pixel 2 XL and Galaxy S9. Additionally, it has Sony’s High-Resolution Audio technology for clear sound with and without headphones.
Front-facing 8 MP camera has 120-degree wide-angle lens, especially for selfies. The wide-angle lens also allows portrait selfie with bokeh option. The device has powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 with a 3580 mAh battery. It has powered by Charge 3.0 for rapid charging which improves smart stamina, better battery care, and Qnovo adaptive charging.
The company says the phone will be unveiled in August which has a cost of US$350 and Sony Xperia XA2 Ulta costs at US$450. The device will be available in leather-esque style in silver and black colors.
