Machinery Industry in China Goes Innovative and Environmental Friendly

Published Date : Nov 27, 2014

China is at its best once again with its heavy machinery industry growing innovative and going green. China has been under pressure due to slower growth in the construction industry. However, several Chinese companies in the building and machinery industry are gradually trading up and demonstrating improved competitiveness – as stated at the 2014 Bauma China construction machinery show.

Lonking is the leading Construction Machinery Company in China. This is the fourth consecutive time Lonking has attended the international construction machinery trade fair show at Bauma China. The Bauma China construction machinery event is held in Shanghai once every two years. Lonking deals in latest machinery products that include a range of pumps, valves, and hydraulic components – all resulting from a 1 billion RMB investment project.

The country’s main goals set for the construction machinery industry are into developing more environmental-friendly technologies in machinery and adopting green manufacturing, apart from striving for technological advancement. This is China’s five-year-plan for 2011-2015.

Zoomlion introduced around 27 of its new products at the show this year. Responding to customer demand, this giant company presented several environmental-friendly and energy-efficient products at the show. Zoomlion has acquired its machinery technologies through different mergers and acquisitions instead of investing in independent innovation.

The Bauma event is attended by over 3,000 exhibitors – of which one-third of the companies are big market giants such as Volvo Construction Equipment. As a global industry leader, the company does not feel pressured regarding the competition from various Chinese companies, but instead see it as an encouraging force for its business.

According to Weissburg, the Chinese market is going through an improvement phase as some of the show sales volumes within the main construction product categories have declined since last year.
