Telenav, the location-based platform services, which is the market leader, today declared the opening of its automotive office based in Japan and the main hirings of Masaya Hashida and Hiroshi Miyamoto as Director of Customer Solutions and Director of Business Development, respectively.
The office, which is situated in Tokyo, is an extension of the current consumers liaison centers of Telenav in Europe, North America, and China to serve the requirements of its automotive partners across the globe. The Tokyo office will permit Telenav to develop further and intensify automotive relationships, trigger business opportunities and offer local support for car manufacturers, tier-one consumers and parterres situated in Japan.
Mr. Hiroshi Miyamoto, who is a market veteran and has spent more than thirteen years at a map content provider named INCREMENT P Corporation, will be the chief of the automotive business development department. Matt Hashida, who is a telematics, navigation, and vehicle entertainment expert with more than twenty years of practice at Pioneer Corporation, is also Joining Miyamoto. He holds more than ten patents and has launched many exceptional products, which includes the first amplified reality heads-up display in the world.
Mr. Hassan Wahla, president of the automotive business unit at Telenav, stated that their investment in Japan confirms the commitment of Telenav in making sure their main automotive consumers can leverage thier innovative position-based services across the globe.
