Samsung has finally launched Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge, putting an end to all the speculations about the features, specifications, and the incredible innovations. As J.K Shin announced the phones, he showcased phones that were truly ingenious models of their predecessors with grand enhancements that make them true evolutions than revolutions in the mobile world.
At first glance, the phones do offer a new hardware, enhanced camera, better battery, faster charging systems, and the rest can only be said after the phones are actually put to test. Here’s taking a look at what the phones give the user for the price they are set to pay.
Both the phones, Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge, use metal and glass for the front and back panels. This makes the phone sturdier in design and demeanor. The glass is the Gorilla Glass 4, which is 50% stronger than the earlier models.
The screens have a better display as well. With 5.1-inch 1440x2560 Super AMOLED display, the images are sharper. For regular users the great display doesn’t change much. However, for those using the Gear VR, the virtual reality seems clearer than never before, offering an experience that remains untouched by any other manufacturer until now. The S6 Edge will have rounded edges on both the sides.
Both the devices come with 64-bit 8-core Samsung Exynos processor, 3GB of DDR4 memory, and brand new hardware, which makes these phones 35% more efficient than the previous models.
The battery life of these devices has also been enhanced with a better charging system that will use an in-built 2550 mAh Li-Ion unit. This will allow the phones to charge faster than any of its contemporary in the industry.
