Sheetz Opens a Fuel-free Concept Store in Morgantown, West Virginia

Sheetz Inc. launched its new grocery store/ concept restaurant, named as Sheetz at U Place, to the residents and the students of Morgantown, West Virginia on March 3, 2015. The new store concept is situated on the ground floor of University Place, a novel mixed-use retail and residential complex, which is a few blocks from downtown campus of West Virginia University.

This is the first site for Sheetz that is without gasoline and with an overall focus on the food and beverage delivery. More than 2 years in growth, every feature of the concept will provide consumers a new way to please themselves from Sheetz food and grocery products and offer students and residents a new way to shop, reside, and meet people in downtown Morgantown, the firm stated.

The grocery store and café, spread into an area of 15,000-square-foot, will serve as the foremost retailer to provide grocery choices in the downtown Morgantown area in some years. Located at University Place, this store of Sheetz is triple the size of a regular Sheetz store and will offer outdoor and indoor seating for hundred consumers at a time.

In addition to the splendid opening, Sheetz is providing a US$10,000 dollar scholarship to one full-time or part-time student of West Virginia University; the firm will select ten finalists, and it will declare the winner on March 7, 2015 at the Oklahoma State University vs. West Virginia University men's basketball match.
