IHS, an analytics firm based in Colorado has recently declared that it would be acquiring RootMetrics, which is a company situated in Bellevue, in the state of Washington. This company specializes in testing of mobile networks. The financial terms included in this business contract were not revealed.
RootMetrics was established in the year 2008, and since then the company has been flourishing and has gained tremendous popularity in the U.S. The CEO of Sprint in the month of February had stated that the T-Mobile segment will witness a rather rude awakening at a time when the report of RootMetrics was to be released. The network analytics offered by RootMetrics is on the basis of subscription since reports of broader network free of cost for consumers.
According to senior officials at IHS, the fact that RootMetrics will be acquired by HIS will significantly make the position of telecommunications very strong. In fact, the telecommunications segment is by far the largest within the space of technology information. In the United States, it is RootMetrics which dominates the world of mobile network analytics. The company at present is trying to create a place for itself in the market of Great Britain.
Several officials at RootMetrics have concluded that that there exists immense potential for expansion of the model of RootMetrics, and that the company can try penetrating into the other geographical markets and other regional market segments. RootMetrics is yet to announce its further business plans in its headquarters at Seattle.
