What better way to engage the youth of today than to offer them a tempting range of electronics? Global music channel MTV has done just that with its latest range of cool gadgets-Fashiontronix-launched in association with Soundlogic. These youth-centric tech toys primarily comprise products such as headphones, earphones, and speakers (Bluetooth-enabled). This latest range of gadgets was launched in the Indian city of Mumbai on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Viacom 18’s Consumer Products Business Head Saugato Bhowmik said that MTV is keen on creating trends, and music is one of the best ways to do so. With its latest range of gadgets, the channel has given the youth access to on-the-go music. A considerable amount of thought has gone into the overall aesthetics and design of the gadgets so as to keep them in harmony with brand MTV.
Soundlogic is a company engaged in the manufacturing of cutting-edge technology products. This particular range of gadgets is not just vibrant to look at what with its uber cool packaging, but also technologically superior much in keeping with the preferences of the youth of today.
The Fashiontrix range is available in a price range of INR 899 and INR 3,999-as the brief was to create stylish gadgets that are also pocket-friendly. In India, the range is being currently sold exclusively through Croma retail stores. Post this 60-day exclusivity period, the products will be available at other stores nationwide.
The companies have also drawn up a holistic digital promotion campaign that will be seen hitting the markets shortly, followed by another stage of television-commercial adverting.
In the past too, MTV has expanded the purview of its business operations by venturing into the launch of apparel, accessories and deodorants for the youth.
