Multi Bintang Will Build A Soft-Drinks Plant In The East Java

The Indonesian Beer Company Named Multi Bintang Has Commenced Its Construction Of Carbonated Non-Alcoholic Beverage Products Or Soft-Drinks, A Project Worth Rp 210.7 Billion ($18 Million) In The Location Of Sampang Agung, Mojokerto District Of East Java.

This Plant Is Contrived To Produce Up To 500,000 Hectoliters Of Soft Drinks. The Company Held A Grand Ceremony For The Plant Which Was Witnessed By The Industry Minister M.S. Hidayat, Mojokerto Head Regent Mustofa Kamal Pasa, And The Chief Of The Investment Coordinating Board Mahendra Siregar. 

Heineken – That Is Ideally A Netherlands Based Company Holds More Than 75 Percent Stake In Multi Bintang. 

The Chairman Of Multi Batang, Cosmas Batubara Said The Work Is In Full Swing And Is Expected To Be Fully Operational By This Year In The Month Of May. He Also Said That, If The Company Becomes Fully Functional The Plant Could Help Minimize The Amount Of Money Spent In Importing The Soft Drinks, Because Last Year, Nevertheless, Multi Batang Imported About $24.89 Million Worth Of Soft-Drinks. 

 Hidayat Said Indonesia’s Per Capita Soft Drink Consumption Is Around 2.4 Liter Every Year, Which Is Comparatively Lower Than Other Countries In Southeast Asia. The Statistics Of Other Countries Such As The Philippines Is 34.13 Liters Of Soft Drinks, Singapore 31.36 Liters, Thailand 23.23 Liters, And Malaysia 18.96 Liters, Said The Traded Minister.
