Honor 7 from Huawei to be released on June 30

The new phone from Huawei called Honor 7 is expected to be launched on June 30. Huawei, the Chinese phone company has now started talking about the launch for this new smartphone on social media.

This news cropped up from a post that was visible on the company’s official social network on Weibo in China. On this post, the firm shared a couple of images of their new phone Honor 7. This phone is expected to have a fingerprint sensor built in it. Also, one of the teaser images that was displayed showed a finger style number 7 with the date as June 30 mentioned below it. Another picture was revealed with the number 7 that was being picked from a scanning line. Post the launch of Android Pay, the fingerprint sensors are a crucial feature for upcoming phones.

The unconfirmed reports about the Honor 7 smartphone is most likely to be made using aircraft grade metal and will sport a 5 inch 1080p screen, according to GSM Arena. Honor 7’s regular version is powered via Kirin 935 mobile chipset and will have a 3GB RAM along with a 16 GB of on-board storage. Other features of this phone are 13 megapixel rear camera that comes with optical image stabilization, LED Flash, and autofocus.

Though, the Chinese firm Huawei’s shares spiked last year in the same quarter, the company followed Xiaomi and Apple in the race to nab the top spot in the nation. At present, Huawei is aiming on more high end phones to collect more consumers and challenge its competitors. The incorporation of the fingerprint recognition in the Honor 7 phone is one of the way for the company to deliver tough competition to its competitors in the high end phone sector.
