Batman: Arkham Knight video game’s release date has been postponed till the beginning of next year.
A representative of Warner Bros Games that owns London-based developers of Batman, Rocksteady stated that the game’s release date was postponed till next year to give the fans the epic conclusion to the trilogy they deserve.
Other high-profile games such as Mad Max, Quantum Break, Dying Light, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and the The Order:1886 will also be suffering delays. To avoid the risk of failure, companies prefer to postpone game releases. It also gives them time to focus more on development of the game.
Batman: Arkham Knight is a highly anticipated action-adventure game with the main storyline that takes place after a year of 2011’s Batman: Arkham City.
The ‘blockbuster’ Batman game will provide an enjoyable gaming experience to the fans because it is intensely graphic as it is implemented using cutting-edge VFX technologies.
A game magazine stated that even though there is risk involved in alienating gamers by consistent delays, the risk of alienating gamers by giving them a bad game is even higher. This is one major cause why game developers prefer to stretch the deadlines rather than letting the final product suffer.
Games produced in crunched deadlines suffer a terrible launch, which taints the game developers and the gaming company’s reputation.
The above mentioned are all ‘next-gen’ games which display highly detailed and complex visual effects. Such games can be played on the most advanced consoles. This forces users to upgrade their old gaming consoles to enhance their gaming experience.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
