China-Arab States Health Cooperation Forum in September to Boost the Medical Sector

The 2015 China-Arab States Health Cooperation Forum is likely to be held from September 10th 2015 to September 13th 2015, in Yinchuan, Ningxia. The participation for this forum has been already confirmed by the health ministers and the Secretariat of the League of Arab. 

As per the organizing committee of the China-Arab States Health Cooperation Forum, Arab and China will put forward a joint statement regarding development of medical and health sectors in the two countries. Various health and medical services will be cooperatively agreed in the forum. Along with this, the ‘Yinchuan declaration’, for this year, will also be announced in the China-Arab States Health Cooperation Forum. 

The main focus of the China-Arab States Health Cooperation Forum would be on enhancing cooperation between different pharmaceutical technologies in different regions of China and Arab States in order to develop the healthcare sector. The forum will be held in four sessions including, the opening ceremony, seminar on healthcare cooperation, the academic interchange meeting, and China-Arab States Health industry Expo and Health Industry Forum. A ‘One Belt, One Road’ strategy will be considered by the representatives from Arab and China to promote healthcare cooperation. Ideas on management and prevention of infectious diseases, treatment and prevention of chronic diseases, and traditional medicines will be shared in the forum. 

Ningxia, the provincial Hui region in China, houses more than 2 million Muslims. Ningxia was the prime participant that drove cooperation between Arab countries and China. Many Muslim communities were then connected with China to promote healthcare cooperation. The China-Arab States Health Cooperation Forum has become one of the important events to assists the government of China to implement ‘One Belt, One Road’ strategy. The government of China is expecting more Arab countries to join the ‘One Belt, One Road’ strategy and promote cooperative activities between the healthcare sectors.
