  • Real estate was the largest asset class for Hong Kong HNWIs in 2015, accounting for 34.1% of total HNWI assets. This was followed by business interests with 24%, equities with 18.5%, cash and deposits with 11.4%, fixed-income with 8.2% and alternatives with 3.9%.
  • Real estate, equities and business interests recorded the highest growth during the review period, at respective rates of 67.2%, 51.7% and 22.4%.
