Deflation and stable GDP growth allowed beverages to grow. Also, foreign trade remains as a driver of growth, while real turnover in retail trade of beverages declined in October and November. Private Label products underperformed within the soft drinks market. Cultured dairy drinks consumption fell into a negative trend in Q4-15, consumers were reserved in their spending and predominately purchased basic products.

Packaged water experienced a drop in Q4-15, consumption notably underperformed during October

Beer performed well before Q4-15 and during the festive period towards the end of the year, as mild weather was more conducive for drinking beer than traditional mulled wine

New uses were found for a new launched vanilla flavour product in the flavored milk category

Hot tea made a gain in Q4-15, however the mild and mostly dry weather in late autumn and the beginning of winter did not significantly stimulate consumption
