The volume of retail trade sales have increased in the period of January May 2016 compared to the same period of the previous year. Extreme hot weather hit the country in the second quarter which favors the commercial beverages market. Private Label brands performance was quite stable in the Hungarian soft drink market. The total dairy drinks and hot beverages increased due to increasing purchasing power of consumers. Alcoholic drinks reported an increase in this quarter when compared to the same quarter of last year.
