Soft drinks recorded a decline in Q2-16, mostly due to unsettled, wet weather in some countries and declining consumer confidence in many of the larger beverage markets. While all commercial beverages continues to show a very marginal drop in volumes, quarter two results have prompted a downward revision in the volume projection for the year. In contrast, the outlook for alcoholic drinks has been readjusted upwards, mainly due to improved wine sales.
